Gibbs Hybrid are seeking an experienced Axiom Developer for a contract with a top UK financial services organisation. The base location is Glasgow and 2 days per week onsite is mandatory.

Location: Glasgow (On-site requirement: 2 days per week)
Rate: £450-£500 per day (inside)
Length: 6-12 month contract

Mandatory Skills:
* Axiom SL ControllerView CV10
* Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
* Strong command of Unix environment and Shell Scripting
* Experience with Autosys for batch job configuration

Desired Skills:
* Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies throughout the full life cycle
* Exposure to the finance industry
* Familiarity with regulatory reporting platforms
* Experience using life cycle tools such as Jira and Rally


Roles And Responsibilities:
* Design and develop Axiom ControllerView CV10 objects independently, including Freeform Reports, Aggregations, Data Models, Data Sources, and Portfolios.
* Troubleshoot production issues and provide effective solutions. Offer user support for UAT execution.
* Possess a minimum of 6 years of development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Axiom.
* Axiom ControllerView Certification is advantageous.
* Proficiency in PL/SQL is a prerequisite.
* Preferably experienced in regulatory and risk reporting standards such as FRY 9C, FFIECxxx, 14M, and 14Q.
* Create and manage various Axiom components such as Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Free Form, and Tabular Reports based on regulatory requirements.
* Handle the migration of Axiom components across different environments.
* Interpret functional documents and collaborate with Business Analysts/Users to develop reports accordingly.
* Contribute proactively to reconciliation needs across various streams on behalf of the Technology Team.
* Possess experience in data warehousing, with a focus on regulatory reporting.
* Function effectively as an Axiom Developer in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Demonstrate self-starting abilities and comfort in client interactions. Strong communication skills are essential.
